Lucie graduated in General Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Pilsen and specializes in lactation counselling, where she has been helping mothers solve breastfeeding problems for 15 years. She started as a first aid lecturer, worked in paediatric surgery, but her daughter’s health problems led her to lactation counselling. Lucie focuses on comprehensive breastfeeding diagnosis, effective methods for achieving full breastfeeding and running a support group for mothers.
She is also currently involved in training new lactation consultants. Her practice also uses gentle and effective therapies such as homeopathy, reflexology and massage. She is the founder and certified lactation consultant of the Comfort Breastfeeding Project, where she provides mothers with comprehensive and easy-to-understand information about breastfeeding. Her mission is to accompany mothers on their way to a relaxed motherhood and a healthy baby.

Why she joined the project
She is honored to be involved in this amazing project, precisely because of its comprehensiveness and emphasis on the opinions of experts in each field, as well as the professional accuracy of the information offered. In practice, Lucie meets many mothers who are struggling with the challenges and uncertainties associated with breastfeeding. Mothers often come across outdated information and myths that can lead to premature termination of breastfeeding or unnecessary breastfeeding.
This project is an opportunity for her to provide mothers, as well as fathers and grandmothers, with access to expert and easy-to-understand information about breastfeeding. Its aim is to help families better understand the principles of breastfeeding and support them in their new role in life, so that the result is a happy mother, a healthy baby and a harmonious family.
Interests and points of interest
Since she was a little girl, Lucy has been interested and fascinated by how the human body works, why diseases arise and how they can be cured. Medical school gave her the foundations of classical medicine, but she wants to see beyond the surface and look at human health in a broader context. That is why she started to focus on homeopathy and reflexology, which often help where the possibilities of conventional medicine end. Also, first aid and breastfeeding are her other loves for life. Helping people on the road to health is her lifelong mission.
